Zhongtong Bus Central Junction Box

Central junction box for Zhongtong city buses and coaches. The box concentrates the fuses, relays and distribution terminals for the cabin circuits in one panel behind the dashboard, so lights, wipers, fans, horn and accessory feeds are protected and switchable from a single point. It is a direct replacement for the original unit - same panel outline, same connector layout and the same fuse and relay positions - so a burnt or corroded box can be swapped without rebuilding the harness.

Fault Signs of a Failed Junction Box

• Several unrelated circuits fail at the same time
• Fuses blow repeatedly, or the fuse holder is melted or discoloured
• Relays click but the load does not switch, or the socket pins are loose
• Green corrosion or water marks inside the box after rain or washing
• Intermittent electrical faults when driving over bumps

Installation Notes

1. Switch off the battery master and wait for all control units to power down.
2. Photograph the fuse and relay positions and the connector layout before removal.
3. Unplug the connectors, release the mounting screws and remove the old box.
4. Fit the new box, reconnect the harness plugs and transfer the fuses and relays to the matching positions.
5. Test each circuit one by one and confirm every function works before returning the bus to service.

Packing and Supply

Each box is packed in an anti-static bag with foam protection and an export carton. Neutral packing and mixed container loading with other Zhongtong electrical parts are available.
